Strathisla 10 Year Old That Boutique-y Whisky Company Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 500ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Floral honey brings delicate sweetness with notes of citrus blossom, soft zest, heather, and coconut.
Palate: Creamy custard, poached orchard fruits, trickles of caramel, with notes of Rich Tea biscuits, and gentle, rounded spice.
Finish: Sweet vanilla and buttery oak linger for a creamy, rich finish.
Distillery Information
It started life as the brewery of the local monastery and turned itself to the making of whisky in 1786, one of the few distilleries in what is now the Speyside region to go legal. It was known as Milltown/Milton until 1870, but its whisky was long known as Strathisla after the river which it sits beside.
