This is the 14th bottling of this limited release run of premium bourbon. Aged for a minimum of 12 years with a finished barrel strength of 100% proof and a mash bill that is kept close under wraps, 2015 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon is yet another gift-wrapped quaff eagerly sought by many collectors. The nose reveals notes of drying tobacco, rich wood tones, warm oak, and dark raisins dipped in chocolate. On the palate, there is honey and wood layered over dried oranges and shelled nuts.
