The Macallan Exceptional Casks series was relaunched in 2017. The range takes its name from a number of single cask bottlings Macallan released during the 1990s, which are often described as some of “the greatest Macallan of them all.”
Distilled on the 14th December 2005 and bottled over 12 years later after maturing in single American Oak Sherry Puncheon #21156 (Ref: 2018/ESB-21156/07)
Selected by Macallan Whisky Maker Sarah Burgess, this was the seventh cask to be reserved for the 2018 series on 1st May of the same year.
One of only 518 bottles.
