A special release of The Floor Malted, normally bottled in 2012, but bottled in 2015 exclusively for the US Market. 
Ichiro Akuta is the grandson of the founder of the famous Hanyu distillery. In 2007, he built a new whisky distillery 100km northwest of Tokyo. Located near the old distillery of Hanyu the local climate (humid summers and cold winters) provides excellent maturing conditions for whisky and even though it is a young distillery Chichibu continues to release exceptional whiskies.
