Glen Mhor 1978 vintage Highland single malt Scotch whisky. Rare expression of the lost Scottish distillery bottled in 2001 at 56.6% ABV for the Scott’s Selection series.Glen MhorJohn Birnie and James Mackinlay commissioned Charles C. Doig to design Glen Mhor Distillery which was found in 1892 and constructed at Muirton Basin in Inverness. Glen Mhor Distillery was a Scottish Highland malt whisky distillery equipped with two stills and one of the pioneering distilleries to release single malt whisky back in the 1960s. Closed in 1983, dismantled in 1986, demolished 1988 and now one of Scotland’s lost malt whisky distilleries.
