The 2011 George T. Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon was filled into barrels in the spring of 1993. After aging for 18 years and 5 months in Warehouses H, I, and K, 124 barrels were bottled at a high proof of 71.3% (142.6 proof), earning it the nickname “Hazmat.” By the time of bottling, 57.83% of the original whiskey had evaporated, resulting in 13,998 bottles being produced.
