Nose: Voluptuous, concentrated. Irresistible notes of emery cloth, iodine tincture, heady florals (purple lilac, geranium), cocoa beans and leather bring lots of body and depth to the initial nose.
Palate: Unctuous, smooth. A real sweet treat, the attack wavers between purple violets, dark chocolate, liquorice and dried fruit (dates, walnut). With lots of freshness, the mid-palate is fruity (black grape), liquorice (stick) and honeyed (lime blossom).
Finish: Long, silky. The finish keeps intact each flavour revealed on the palate. Then, it gradually quenches its thirst for the exotic (passion fruit, mango, guava).

Bunnahabhain is a distillery situated on the north coast of Islay. The distillery was founded in 1881, and today it produces a variety of whisky styles. Bunnahabhain is best known for its unpeated whiskies, which are light and fruity in style. The distillery also produces peated whiskies, which are more robust and smoky in character. Regardless of style, all of Bunnahabhain’s whiskies are renowned for their smoothness and balance.
