Nose: Hazelnuts coated in caramel. Orange Zest and abundant vanilla. Rich dry smoke.
Palate: Rich and smooth. Mouth-watering, oily and complex. Spicy, cinnamon notes mingle with citrus. Lots and lots of vanilla and toasted oak.
Finish: Long rich and sweet. Plenty of vanilla and peat.
Distillery Information
On the Isle of Arran, the Arran Distillery has only been producing whisky since 1995. It is located in Lochranza in the valley “Glen Eason Biorach”, which translates to “Valley of the small waterfall”. Once known for excellent whisky, the island was without a distillery for 150 years.
