Compass Box Limited Edition Art & Decadence Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and aromatic on the nose with red apples, waxed wood, and wine notes. Creamy, with a liquorice aroma. Banana, toffee, and custard blended with Sauternes.
Palate: On the palate, notes of dried fruit – golden raisin, apricot, apple, and plenty of vanilla.
Finish: Lingering flavours of dark chocolate and fragrant oak.
Distillery Information
Compass Box was launched in 2000 by the American John Glaser, who was previously International Marketing Director at Johnnie Walker. To promote his whisky, John travelled through London visiting pubs and bars with samples and, in idiosyncratic style, handing out business cards billing himself as “John Glaser – Whisky Zealot”.
