Elijah Craig 12 Year Bourbon (1990’s Discontinued Bottling)

This exceptional bourbon comes from no more than 100 select barrels, with a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley. Replaced in 2016 by a NAS small batch version, it offers a nose of warm caramel, cherries, and apricots in vanilla-cinnamon cream. Its palate reveals layers of oak, vanilla, apples, and citrus, seasoned with licorice candies and fennel. Delightful, sweet, and perfectly balanced.
